Psychoeducational evaluations focus on the assessment of academic skills and psychological concerns that may affect academic functioning. 

These types of evaluations may be completed primarily for academic purposes, or they may be included as a part of a comprehensive neuropsychological or psychological evaluation. 

Specific academic domains that may be assessed include:

• Reading - single-word reading/decoding, reading fluency, reading comprehension, and oral reading
• Mathematics - basic calculation skills, application of math skills, and math fluency
• Writing - spelling, writing sentences, and writing fluency
