Educational Diagnostician

Overview
We are seeking a part-time/contracted Educational Diagnostician to join Olivier Neuropsychology, located at 4611 Bluebonnet Blvd., Suite B, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in educational diagnostics, special education, or a related field; certification through the National Certification of Educational Diagnosticians (NCED); and a background in standardized test administration and scoring.

Candidates must be available for testing visits on Wednesdays/Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on an as-needed basis. Educational therapy visits are typically scheduled Mondays through Thursdays, 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Additional services (e.g., patient advocacy, attending SBLC meetings, consultative phone calls with parents, case consultation with the primary supervisor/psychologist) are scheduled as needed.

Primary Duties (include, but are not limited to)

• Administer and score standardized educational assessments (e.g., WJ, KTEA, etc.).
• Provide specialized instruction in various subjects, including reading/English language arts, math, and study skills with a focus on enhancing executive functioning.
• Collaborate with providers as needed for case consultation and targeted academic recommendations.
• Serve as a liaison between the clinic and schools as needed to ensure students have access to appropriate supports.

Additional Skills

• Strong background in special education, including experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including ADHD, intellectual disabilities, learning disorders, and autism.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and providers.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour for direct-contact services
